Network Printer?

HEY ALL.

I have now network, thanks to you guys. Now is it possible to share the printer through a network? If so how? My printer is a USB printer.

Sharing a Printer over a network. Right Click on the Printer and goto sharing; give it a name with not spaces or funny chr$ set it to allow all users and that it. You should see a hand under it.

Awesome. I will try it tonight. Do I need to install the drivers of the printer? Cuz the computer with the printer is on Windows ME, or it will automaticly detect the printer without having to install the drivers on my XP laptop?

The XP computer will find any shared printer automaticly and install the drivers so long as they are in the list. however with me you will need to install the drivers; you have the option in xp to have alternative drivers installed ie windows xp/2000 and windows 98/me goto to the shared printer and right click goto properties and drivers you will see a section on alternative drivers just click the one you need then Me will find and install..
