Hi,
I have reformated my 380D IBM Laptop. The reformatting proccess went through. I wanted to upgrade the OS to Win 98. Is this possible if I have the Win 98 Disc?

The main problem I am experiencing is now that I have reformatted. When I start up Comp. it says Non-system disk or disk error replace and strike any key. What is going on here? I Start up with 98 disc in and it wont boot. What do I do fom Here? I would assume that all i need to do is get it to open in DOS ?? Then boot from there but I cant get it to open in DOS to Run boot disc either.
Thanks Scott

Make sure that the BIOS setup is set to boot from the floppy drive first. Then, a Win98 boot diskette should allow you to boot and set up Windows.
