I have received a request to set up an additional LAN.. There is a broadband connection serving the current network. A Lynksys router connects from the cable modem to a switch.
The new network is to share the broadband connection. The new network is not to have any rights to the original network. I will not have any access to the original network. Content filtering is also required. No VPN access is needed.
The new network will have 20 computers and 1 server that will handle dhcp and dns. I’m fine with the computers and server but the firewall/router issue has thrown me for a loop. I thought I was on the right track with considering the Sonicall TZ170, but I really don’t know how to set this up. Do I need another switch? Is this the right firewall? Any help would be appreciated.
