Howdy,
I've mostly used PCs most of my life. But lately I've been growing fond of my wife's PowerBook. Now, I had no problem setting up her PowerBook to connect to our wireless home network. But now I'm trying to get her PowerBook to communicate with a PPS1UW Linksys Webserver. I have our PCs working through it just fine. But I can't figure out how to get the Mac to locate it. To be honest, I don't know how to even adjust printer settings on this thing.
I have tried using the Apple chooser to select the printer. The HP DeskJet printer IS listed because I once installed it on this PowerBook for use through the USB port. I have OS 9.x. I'm sure AppleTalk plays a role in this. But I'm not sure what to do with it. Any assistance is greatly appreciated since Linksys has pretty much written me off in regards to Mac Support. I guess they "Lac" support.
Sincerely,
Skinzy
