For some reason my Windows 98SE system has simply stopped recognizing the floppy disk drive and Zip drive. The CD drive still works fine and is recognized as the C drive. Is this a bios issue or what? Any help in correcting this would be much appreciated. Thanks.

"The CD drive still works fine and is recognized as the C drive" I hope you ment D:,as c: is your hard drive with the operating system.
Need to get into SETUP, watch the screen should tell you what key to use to get into SETUP. generally the DEL key. Once in there see if there is a menu item that says something like Auto Detect IDE Drives, see if it finds your drives.

Yes, I meant the D: drive for the CD. Windows Explorer sees the A drive, but when I try to use it, I get the message "A:\ is not accessible. The device is not ready." The Iomega Zip drive does not show up at all, although Device Manager says it is working properly.
I tried going into SETUP, but it went automatically to the BIOS settings without giving me any options.
Any help is much appreciated.
