imac G5 is not connecting to internet

The imac G5 is fantastic, but I have a G4 and a PC connected to the internet by a router, and my g5 doesn't recognize the router. I have DHCP to automatically assign an ip. Any quick answers? I have cable.

What Router is it?

Are the G4 & PC connected wired or wireless?

Is the G5 tryingto connect wired or Wireless?

Could it be that the router is blocking the G5 because it's not in the list of reserved IP's or Trusted Wireless clients?
