Hi there,

Try the disk that came with the NIC, that's probably what it wants. Windows isn't very clear as to what disk it needs. Use the browse button if need be.

Who is the manufacturer of that NIC?

Try laplink, go to www.laplink.com (http://www.laplink.com)

Make sure in Network Neighborhood you have it set to share, and make sure the workgroupe name is correct. Check through all you settings on the P2 the same as the P3 except for the computer name and the IP Address in the TCP/IP Properties. Everything else should be the same.

As for sharing the internet, Win98se can do that without using a 3rd party software...Win ME also.

If you do want a program for sharing, I suggest Sygate. They cost alittle bit, but it's worth it. It acts as a Stealth Firewall too. It's what I use on several computers.
