I am running Win ME on a P4 with internal DSL
I would like to be able to connect a second computer - Win 98 SE or Win ME to the first and be able to get the necessary updates for that second computer.
Any advice that will not cost an arm and a leg would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Sharing DSL isnt as easy as setting up Internet Connection Sharing with dialup. You will have to purchase a hub that is designed to share this connection. They aren't cheap, but its the only way I know that its possible.

Thank you for your reply.
Any ideas where I may gather additional info.
Thanks

I've setup internet sharing with cable and DSL, once each. They are both very similar. The best way is to use a router which each computer is connected to, and the DSL line is also connected to. That way each of the computers are independent of each other but yet share.

I have used Linksys which is a very good product! Check out their web site: www.linksys.com (http://www.linksys.com)

They have a wealth of info there.
