Angry Internet Explorer Won't Start

Ok, here's my dilemma:
I have a computer downstairs and a computer upstairs. The one downstairs is hooked up to a router that allows wireless internet upstairs (the computer i'm writing this on). The interesting part of this problem is that the computer downstairs doesn't let me get on the internet; however, it must be getting a signal because it's getting transmitted upstairs. I don't know what to do. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, restarting, troubleshooter (no help whatsoever), and system restore a few times (to a couple of days ago when internet was working). All of those didn't work and I would really appreciate some help.
Thanks.

I have windows xp professional and when i start the internet, the window pops up but nothing happens. It doesn't even say PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED. It just says badurl:grandstreetinteractive.com in the status bar at the bottom. Also, the mouse has the hour glass thing and i hear a repeated clicking sound like when you click on a link but it is repeating very fast. I hope this can help. It stinks having only one computer with internet access (which is not very fast at all).
Thanks.

Zucchini,

First change your home page back to whatever you want it to be:

In IE, click on TOOLS, INTERNET OPTIONS. At the top of this window, erase whatever is in the home page address. Change to what you want, then click APPLY and OK.

If that doesn't correct it, unplug the router power cord, wait a few seconds, plug it back in, then restart the computers.

You may also have a spyware issue, but let's see if the above corrects the problem first.

Thanks anyway.

It wasn't a problem with the homepage. I think it was some kind of virus that Symantec couldn't pick up. I replaced some files with the XP CD and it worked again. Thanks.
