Error msg on floppy disk drive

I have windows 95 OS .While trying to use floppy disk "A" drive i get an error msg stating the drive is not accessable. I have recently attached a printer that was purchased from an office when I attached the printer to a different computer the same thing seems to have happened. Now that I have removed the printer I still cant use the Floppy drive. Any help would be appreciated.

What make and model of printer did you attach? How was it connected - Parallel port, Serial port, USB port? Did you install the driver for the printer? What happens when you go into Device Manager - are there any errors or conflicts showing on the floppy drive or the floppy controller? Is the floppy drive enabled in the BIOS?
