gotcha

I'm trying to hook up a very simple 'peer-to-peer' network between an older machine with Windows98 and a brand new machine with WindowsME. For some reason, the new machine with WindowsME can see the Windows98 machine, but the Windows98 machine can't see the network, any suggestions?

Is everything setup correctly on the WinME machine?
You have a Shared Drive/Folder
You have selected File & Print Sharing in the Networking properties.
Do you have a Firewall installed? e.g. ZoneAlarm.
Try setting up a shortcut to the WinME maching.
Create a new shortcut,
in the address use
\\PCName\SharedFolder
or you could try from a DOS prompt.
NET USE [drive: | *] [\\computer\directory
