What in the world is ATP Protocol Driver?

Help! I get the blue screen of death every time I try to get onto AOL! I have a firewall, and this window pops up right before I crash, which says "ATP Protocol Driver is trying to send a packet" so I allow it and it crashes. Or better yet, I don't allow it and it still crashes. Does this mean it's finally time to just get rid of AOL?

I stopped using Aol since 1995.
First of all for you out there who probably don't know, AOL downsizes the bandwidth even if you're using broadband, you still get 1/3 of what you should be getting not to mention all the problems their software causes to all OS not just microsoft, they are very good at advertising yes, but as far as their product is concerned it is Rubbish,

well you don't have to take my word for it, i am only speaking from my experience and people i know who had problem after problem with aol.
