Internet Explorer shut down!
Hi! My first time on here but NEED help!!!
While surfing the internet, I get a message coming up that says "Internet Explorer cannot open the following website.............. Operation Aborted" It then gives the Microsoft Report Send/Don't send message. I click on don't send, it then closes down the screen I was on and asks me if I want to hang up the connection. This can happen on a variety of web sites even though I get into them next time! It can happen a dozen times a day and is VERY annoying. Anyone got any ideas? Is it an IE problem and maybe need to download it again, is it the ISP (BT Connect) or something else. Appreciate any help...

 Try a spyware scan just incase http://www.cybertechhelp.com/forums/...ad.php?t=37546 What OS? Have you tried repairing IE?

Hi Degs,
Will try the spyware scan - tried a normal virus scan and it comes out with about a dozen potentially unwanted programmes and they all end in Ad-ware..... ! I'm running Windows XP Home Edition. How do you repair/clean Internet Explorer? Cheers John
