I work with an AS400 and can access it from the web, before it will let me in I must authenticate to open the tunnel to my work server. The problem is the pop up window doesn't appear. My hard drive crashed Monday and up untill then I had no problem getting the window to pop up. I put in a new hard drive and went through a total recovery process. The following is the process I went through and the results I found.
I first loaded my SBC DSL software and got back on line.
I then opened www.mmsmedical.com/webhost and the Watchguard Authentication window opened and I signed on to the server.
I left that opened while I loaded my Norton Security software. I permitted all the items Norton tried to block. This included my SBC Yahoo browser. I signed off the system, closed my browser, re-opened it and attempted the webhost again. The window popped up and I signed on and put in some orders. I ran LiveUpdate for Norton to update the software, closed my browser, opened it and attempted to sign on again through the webhost. Again no problems.
I then proceeded to load other software...Microsoft Office, Camedia (digital camera), Pinnacle Studio 9, Lexmark all-in-one printer drivers. I had to restart the computer after these. After the restart I tried the webhost and the sign on window would not appear. (Damn)
I've disabled the popup blocker in Norton, the XP firewall and this Norton Internet Security and the sign on window still will not appear. I can't figure out why this pop up won't connect. It also is happening with my reply option in our Outlook Web Access.
