Hello,

A friend has a wireless DSL network.
(The main wireless router on her mom's pc).
The wireless router was working fine and transmitting to her pc downstairs.
Then her pc was getting full of spy stuff and viruses.
I cleaned it out and hooked it up to my broadband in my shop.
It worked great.
When I hooked it back up in her home, the wireless icon now says,"WIRELESS CONNECTION NOT AVAILABLE".

Would could change this?

When I used spybot, could it do something?

Or since the windsock files were damaged, and with Cybertech help I did repair it, could it be some other files ALSO damaged that may effect the wireless??

She has rebooted the pc's,dsl modem, wireless router etc.
Still won't connect but her moms (which plugs direct into router) is fine.
Any thoughts would be helpful!

Thanks guys-

Ikey

Hi buddy

if the Wireless card is installed; try removing and re-installing then check the SSID and Channel also does it have WEP or WPA key installed if yes then you will need to re-enter

OK

Thanks
