Police in North Yorkshire are urgently trying to warn all parents of children of school age of a new potentially lethal drug craze sweeping school yards. This has been witnessed so far in Scarbourough, Thirsk and even as far south as Leeds.

Cheif Inspector Boycott warns:

"Children are being sold the drug in a new form, which local health chiefs are concerned could be mistakenly administered to babies and young children by their parents."

A Heckmondwyke Health Authority Spokeman explains "The drug is an ecstasy type halucanagenic, the base of which is Bonjela soothing dental anaelgesic gel, often used for teething babies. This is rubbed into the gums and tooth base and is therefore quickly absorbed into the youths bloodstream, giving the child a very strong "rush" or "high"."

Symptoms appear to be the child/youth will mumble incoherently, dress in a bizare fashion, leave their rooms unkempt, fail to bathe or wear fresh clothes.

Youth leaders have advised the Police of the "street name" for this new drug and advise all parents to listen out for their little tykes talking about.......

wait for it..............
