EDIT: Never mind, it's all done and it's great! And I ain't that dumb, hubby had it set up not to automatically do its thing!

Well, I guess I'll have to astound you all and embarrass myself! I don't want to wait for my husband to get home to do this. I want to install MS Word 2000, which I had a hard enough time finding but finally did without all the other "office suite" stuff. I put the disc in, close the drawer - nothing, no instructions coming up, nothing. My husband just did this last night with another disc so I know there's nothing wrong with it. I have inserts saying "You must agree to this license" before installing - but I don't see any phone number or anywhere for me to call and agree! I agree, I agree already! What am I doing wrong? I really just want to get on with it! I have to admit I never do this, hubby does. Thanks.

Well you going to let us know how you figured it out, what it is that you did?

I didn't do nuthin' except wait for hubby, Tram! Then he did it, but he told me he has it set up that way, where he has to tell it to run, because it saves more space! I figured better safe than sorry - not that I could have figured it out anyway!

If you say so, about the space saving that is. So I guess what he has turned off is the auto cd play feature.

Smart move on your part to let him do it. That way if it doesn't work then you can blame him. Women!! http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/wink.gif
