Hi bigLep, welcome to CTH

Are you having this problem in rtf or html format? Your heading says one and body says another

mmmmm, just tried it (I use Outlook 2002). It worked ok to both a pop3 and a webmail account from rtf. It doesn't embed the object, but puts a placeholder in the text of the mail and shows the attachment in a seperate area.
If I use HTML setting, I can get the object to show in the body of the text.
