IE 6 problem doesn't load up certain sites

Have just changed internet service provider from AOL to UK BT.

IE works fine except that it cannot load up my sign in accounts for my web email and ebay. Why only these two pages everything else works fine. Is it something to do with removing AOL? I have no ideas, does it sound like a virus?

I know it is a problem with my computer because i have successfully loaded up my accounts using a different computer on the same internet connection.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

If you mean that you cannot login then it is possible it is a problem of not having cookies enabled. You can find out more information about enabling cookies by going to:

Hi, I am having the same problem logging into some email accounts. I tried to change the settings for the cookies but it didn't work. On one when I try to log in, it says in the address bar, CheckingCookie, but it just sits there and doesn't log in...I use Windows XP, so I went onto another name and tried it in Internet Explorer under their name, and it worked...So it must have something to do with my settings, can anyone help?

Was it just the privacy setting that you changed?

If so, you should also lower your internet security settings for the internet zone. The default level should be fine.

This issue can also be caused by a pop-up stopper, antivirus, firewall, or malware.
