I've had this problem for a month or so. While browsing using IE 6 and a second window opens, ie. a site sends you to a check out page. When I close the new window IE gives me an error message and has to shut down. This happens any time you are sent to additional pages. The other error message I get is that DRpostmortem also has an error and closes. What the heck is DRpostmortemdebug? I've looked into upgrades or patches but I have the latest version of IE. Please help this is verry anoying.

Hi planeguy and welcome to cth.

Please go here and download Spybot Search&Destroy:
http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?lang=en&page=download

Check for updates before running the program. A tutorial can be found under help. You can safely delete what it finds.

Do likewise with Adaware SE that can be found here:

TJolly, I have both of those programs and run them biweekly. This problem is not caught by S&D, adware SE, or Norton AV 2004. So I think it's a program bug or a conflict of some sort. can anybody help?
