I am able to receive, reply and forward e-mail but I am unable to send it. When I write a message and press send it goes to the Outbox, I press send and receive and then the window comes up showing me that it is sending. The message then goes to the sent folder. I have checked all of the connections. Everything seems to be set up correctly. No one else is experiencing this problem. Any help you may provide would be greatly appreciated.

Go to Tools>Options and open the Send tab. Is "send messages immediately" checked?

Thank you for responding to me so quickly. I am happy to say that I found a solution to my problem! I installed the IE 5.5 upgrade and now I am able to send e-mail. I am guessing that the program had a component missing, a virus, or just an unexplainable Microsoft "thing". Thank you again for your time and support!
