Hi People,

I am currently having problems in viewing the Source codes for wbesites.
It is not just one or two websites but all websites i have visited i couldnt get the source code to load up.

I have deleted my Temporary Internet Files and that did not work and i have tried clikin on Non Linked parts of the website.

Does not work, the reason i need this to work is bcoz i am currently in the middle of creating a Website and when i save the file as a HTML file i cannot view the source code thus meaning i cannot edit my site.

Can anybody help me? :(

Welcome to CTH. :)

So you don't have the html file already on your computer, to do any editing?

I have the HTML file but what i dont have is the .txt file

And if i am to make both (so i have a .txt file and a HTML file) it means they are not classed as the same type of info so wen i edit my txt file and save it i have to make another HTML file so it the edits will take effect

Make sense?

OK guys i need ur help still.

I have been away and looked at my problem, searching through numerous sites trying to get an answer.

What i have tried is opening my .HTML files with Notepad, this unfortunately does not work as the file is not a valid win32 application.(I aint sure but i think this may be the source of my problems, i cant even open .txt documents from outside Notepad itself.)

I then opened the file in Wordpad and it worked fine, i also created a simple HTML file in Word pad but i still cannot access the source. I assume Note pad is the default.

Is there any way of fixing this problem, or at least making Wordpad my default.

Have you run a Virus Scan?
