Hi,

I would like to know what the most popular spreadsheet is at this time. Is it Excel?

If so how would I transfer the last DOS version of Lotus 123 records to the new spreadsheet? I do know that Quattro-pro won't work this way.

Has Windows 98 been replaced with W-2000 or 9x?

Thanks for the help.

It's excel, though I still prefer Quattro Pro http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/frown.gif
The tables are easy to transfer, just drag and drop with both Apps open.
Excel should open any former 123-format directly, though some formulars need to be established new. If you speak about WK1 format, all newer spreadsheets open them and translate them correctly.

Thanks for replying Herb, i've been taking a bit of a break.

Yep, Excel is probably the most widely used spreadsheet application now.
Provided you install all the converters when installing Excel, it will open pretty much any other spreadsheet.

As for operating systems, W98 is still the most widely used although I am still running W95a!!

Hehe smurfy,
if it wasn't the dang USB-support I'd be still on 95B http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
However my 98FE runs with 98lite, that is the 95B explorer and shell http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Hey REA, nothing has been replaced, M$ polished 98 to ME and NT to W2K, stick with what you have, until it doesn't work anymore.
