I have virtual pc 6 with Windows 2000 on an ibook with mac osx. Whether I delete a file outright within virtual pc by putting it in the recycle bin and emptying it, cut and paste into a shared file, or drag it onto the host drive and delete the original in the recycle bin, the file does not truly delete. It does not show up anywhere, but continues to take up hard drive space. When I cut and paste to my shared file, it still says it's "copying", even though it no longer shows up in virtual pc. I cannot find anything on how to stop this from happening. I keep having to delete virtual pc and reload it and I know there's an easier way. Does it have to do with the virtual memory? I'm fairly knowledgeable, but this is stumping me. Thank you.
