Hi Double Eagle
Welcome to CTH
Are the fans running? What operating system are you running? What else is connected to the computer, eg modem, ADSL, Cable, speakers, scanner, printer etc? Do they get closed down also? Before or after the PC is closed down? Have you tried a different order? Does it make any difference? BF
