hey i had just bought a new dvd game, the title says DVD games and nothing else....... and i m not sure whether it will work on PC (i have a DVD rom) or not as it doesnt have any .exe files or ne setup files...... is there any software for that? or it wurks only on PlayStation s only.
and if there is any software for it? do tell how to get that....

Unfortunately, most of us are not well developed in our ESP skills, and besides that you have the answer right at your finger tips. What does the case say? Since we can't see it, and you didn't mention what game (or game pack) you are referring to, we're totally in the dark here. So, common sense dictates that if the game case says it is for PC then it obviously should play on your PC. If it is for PS or PS2 or Xbox or Gamecube, then no, it will not work on your PC.

Your original question is very choppy and confusing. If you want help to solve the problems, you need to answer any question asked. If the dvd is loaded with pc games then maybe we can help, if the dvd is loaded with playstation games then they could be illegal copies and we cannot help. But to help we need info.

It means this is a Playstation2 DVD, not a PC DVD-Rom and this means the answer to your original question is in fact No, you cannot play it on your PC.
