I had to recently re-install Windows XP home on my computer. Now I can not use my cd burner and other applications (including sound).
Is there a way that I can recover these programs?

Hi Kevin, you have to reinstall your soundcard and whatever program you use to burn cd,s. If you dont have a soundcard, you may get the drivers off you motherboard cd, it,s probably AC 97, just put your MOBO cd in the drive and select autorun at right click "D" (if thats your cd drive) you will see the audio setup program. You need Nero or another program to get your burner working. Most of the time you need to install Nero from the drive you intend to use as your burner, so it will recognise the drive IE: Sony 52x12x52 cd-rw.
