Hi:wave: Two items:
1) Have updated my Yahoo Messenger, and found that window that comes up now appears to have a minimum size that is larger than before. Does anyone know how I can reduce it to a size that is more suitable for a small screen laptop? Note that, as I said, if use resizing arrows, it only allows you to do this to a certain minimum size. Also, same type of question on AIM.
2) How do I change a window size so that when opens up, it defaults to max size?
Thx.

or ... go to "system" tool ... also in control panel too. go to "performance" --> "graphic" --> u can change u'r hardware aceleration setting.
I can't promise this is works ... but u can try it

Gundam,
I tried going into Preferences, but see nothing there that shows me how to change window sizes.
Note that I can reduce the AIM people list window to about 1/2 the minimum size that Yahoo Messenger enables me to reduce its window size.

Ok, have found solution to Item1.............. there is a patch that fixes the Yahoo messenger window size problem. Discussed on BigBlueBall.com forum (not joking), this is a messaging help forum. Found by doing a more specific Google search.
Item2 is still open.
Thx.
