Is there a setting that will automatically subscribe to threads when posting in them and receive notification by email?

Yes, click on User CP on the left top blue bar, click on edit options on the left and then in the second box there is 'Default thread subscription mode' , select Instant email notification in the drop down box.

Hi,
I have done all that you have said and I still am not receiving any e-mails on things I have posted, I have saved the thread in my favorites and have to keep clocking on the link to come back to see if anyone has replied.
Suggestions?
Thanks,
Kenny

Kenny, my first thought would be to make sure your E-Mail settings are correct in your CTH Control Panel. If they are, then we can maybe work on helping you more. :)

I had a similar prob recently, the notification period option was set to "weekly". I modified it to "immediate" and bingo, all is fine now.

So I am guessing you are still having the problems. Check any spam filters and make sure they are not being deleted. Are you trying to receive it via webmail or pop3? Who is the account with?

I don't have any spam filters on my computer but my ISP does but they send me an e-mail showing what is in quarantine and lets me decide weather I want to have it delivered or not.
My ISP is local (Saferinternet) and I receive POP 3 Outlook Express.
Thank you for your help.

If you are not having any problems with emails from other places, if under user control panel - edit options - it shows instant email notificiation, if your email address is correct, then I cannot think of anything else to try.

I am so sorry to bother you with this.
I feel so stupid cause I never once thought to check to see what my e-mail was on here, well I looked and here it was an old one.
I could have swore I had my present one on here, again forgive me and I want to thank you for all your help.
