power vcr 2 v.3.0

I put the cd softare into my cd rom, and it
installed as usual....BUT...
When I clicked on the program, it froze, gave me the "blue screen of death" and I
had to reboot.
I haven't even done anything with the
program yet!!!!!
Does anyone have any advice?
I tried the cyberlink website, but to
no avail. :mad:

win 98
P3 450mhz
192 ram
8 gig drive
This well within the range of what i need.
I checked the patch out, but i am not
running windows xp so do i really need it?
I am capturing from ATI Tv Wonder PCI,
but i am not sure what my video card is.
