Windows ME or Win98 SE ?

Hope this is in correct forum?
Am purchasing a computer with Win ME installed (Currently using 98 SE).
Hear rumours ME not so good. Having difficulty in evaluating whether I should
stay with what works for me as I do not undertand much techno-talk.Any persuasive reasons why I should try Win ME please? :rolleyes:
