Where is it? What to do?

I have converted mpeg files to DVD, but when i play the DVD, the sound is 5sec. off. you can see the lips moving and 5sec. later you can hear what they say. So.... I have read something about it here, in some forum, but i cann't find it. I know somebody has asked this question befor!! But i will ask it again. Please help, what am i doing wrong?
