ibook G3 wireless hardware inquiry

I recently purchased an ibook g3 used with an airport card installed. My question is what is the best/cheapest router to buy, and what else will I need to set up wireless high-speed access in my apt.

Thanks, wireless neophyte at risk

From a cheapskate...

I have recently started to migrate little by little into a MacOSX world. I really love it. I started with an iMac and then bought an iBook g3. I am a real pc person and already had a wireless network set up. I noticed with OSX I had no problem surfing the web wirelessly on my iMac or iBook through my pc router by netgear. The only thing you can't do is trade files very easily. I think if you had an apple airport you could. I bought my router from netgear for under 30 bucks and it works great. I don't have a super fast wireless-g setup, but I don't mind since my ibook does fine with the airport card it supports. So if you only want to be able to surf the web you can buy a pc router and set it up and then just share it with a mac. If you only have the mac the netgear router I own came with mac instructions an it also has free over the phone tech support. Well, I hope this helped some.
