I'm looking for the utility that allows you to copy files that are larger than the 1.44 MB limit, on to multiple floppy disks.
Question: If you use this utility, can another computer read the files, without having the same utility installed?

jmtjet,

There is such a download and it's here on CTH. Go to http://www.cybertechhelp.com/html/downloads.shtml and download "Spandisk"

Thanks again Meshy, You're all over this place ;) But, can any computer read these files without this utility installed?

Unfortunatly, I was unable to install Spandisk. I kept getting an error message that stated: flysetup.exe could not be found. Then an Illegal OPs message. O well.

Try File Sredder, it's freeware and you can find it by doing a searchHere. (http://www.download.com) You can specify how many pieces to "cut" the file into and save them all to floppies along with the "join" file that is created! Works great!

Also Winzip will span floppies.
