I'm in desperate need of help!On win98se when i try to shutdown the damm thing sometimes restarts and it can take anything up to 3 or 4 attempts for it to finally shutdown.Please help.

Hi Jez
You might give this a try.
Click Start then Run.
In the Run box type msconfig and click OK.
Under the General tab click the Advanced button.
Put a check beside "Disable fast shutdown" and click OK.
Click OK again.
You will be prompted to restart.
