Welcome to CTH jlbovo. Perhaps we can fix the problem with Hijack This. Go here (http://www.cybertechhelp.com/download.php?hijackthis1977.zip) and download the latest version of Hijack This to a new folder on your drive, unzip it and click on scan. Most of the files listed will be harmless and/or required so do not make any changes, just click on Save Log, copy it and post it back in this thread.

Hi,
I had the same problem, i.e. I got this extremely irritating popup, but I could find no application to uninstall.
I ran something like 10 different anti-spyware apps trying to rid my computer of this evil, but no success, untill I dowloaded SafePC.
Using that app, I looked at all running processes. For each process, I simply did a google search, i.e. for the string "ddhelp.exe" etc.
One process did not give any hits on the google search:
vxdkrn.exe
I used SafePC to block that process, and the pop-up stopped popping up.
I then removed the vxdkrn.exe from windows/system/ and rebooted my machine, and the popup seem to have vanished for good.
There were a number of other vxdkrn-files, assorted dlls and stuff, but as I am not sure what they do, I left them in the system folder.
A word of warning: DO NOT set SafePC to run on windows startup.
When I did that, SafePC and the popup-application clashed and my computer completely froze, and I could not do anything but reboot, only to get the same result over and over again.
I finally got out from that loop by pressing ctrl-alt-delete during the later stages of bootup, and killing the SafePC application.
