Can you actually play DVDs on Win98, I have downloaded WinDVD player, and the latest windows media player for Win98, and have real player.
When the DVD is in the CD rom drive, does not spin up? I can play DVDs in my WinXP, not that familiar with Win98, have I got it all wrong and you cannot play them, or am I doing something wrong.
Regards, Peter

Hi peterjay

I'm presuming you have two computers and therefore you must have a dvd player hooked up to the win98 machine.

Sorry folks,
I have since found out that you cannot play DVDs in the CD rom drive?
I did not know this, hence the reason for asking the question.
