Got another computer, 266mhz, compaq 5150 with linksys 10/100 and Linux loaded. I removed linksys cards, fdisk through the reformatting, and have 2 hdd's. There was one extended dos partition on the second drive that has 275 bytes that I could not get rid of with fdisk. Loaded w98, but I have decreased functionality. Such as: in windows explorer when I click tools--the only choice I am given is find. I have tried to load an ISP- peoplepc--and get a big red X saying, "You must be an Administrator on this machine to install this software. Please logon with an account that has administrative privileges." What do I do now? I would really like to use the computer.
