:dizzy: In system properties, performance , my % of memory constantly goes down. If I shutdown and bring it back up, it shows 88%, but in a hour it will go down to the 60s or 70s . Shutting down starts this process all over . Thanks for any help.

You've got no problem. Mine goes down twice that sometimes depending on what I'm doing.
Mine is 72% with just IE running.
You're great. BTW, memory and resources are different beasts on their own.

Thanks for the reply BD , but my memory goes down when I am not on the computer , It acts like something is running in the background and using up the memory . It will get so bad that I can not even print or change a document unless I shut down ,causing the memory to come back up .

I still don't know if you are confusing memory with resources.
Read this and see if it may help direct you to better localize and then isolate your problem: http://aumha.org/win4/a/resource.htm Good article.
Good luck.

As the previous replys stated, there is no problems, even if you leave the computer unattended, you have processes running in the background that is eating at your resources. To see the processes thats running do the alt, ctrl, del thing, and click on processes.
