We bought a new windows xp system, but before I take out my old system (Windows 98) We wanted to save some files and folders from the hard drive. So we bought a Jumpdrive 256MB. Followed the instructions, no luck: tried live chat help with Lexar, no help. Downloaded the driver, but it doesn't show up in device manager or my computer. Looking for some help for a novice.:dizzy: Thanks in advance if anyone can help.

I do not know if this is relevent, but the driver I just installed from lexar specified 98SE as the supported 98 operating system.

Could save you from beating your head against the wall.

Other options would be cables between the computers or burning a CDRom.

Good Luck!

:disgust: Been banging my head on computer desk! The Lexar Jumpdrive plugs into the USB port on the BACK of my old computer.:rotflmao: I noticed something about SE on the download page too, but on the instruction sheet with the thumbdrive, it didn't mention 98SE. Online chat help from Lexar didn't help. MIght borrow a CD RW, but that defeats the purpose of buying the Jumpdrive! :dizzy: Lost and bewildered, but Thanks
