Can't use printer in OE

I have WIN ME OE 5.0 and I can't print any messages while in OE. It worked fine until a couple of days ago.

When I try, this is the message that I receive. ...

"An error has occurred in the script on an error page.

Series 237
Char 2
Error permission is denied
Code 0
url rec//c/windows\system\shoolclc.dll previewdlg"

Thanks

I guess it's just another case of weird behavior by OE. It is infamous for coughing up all sorts of probs.

The simplest thing to do could be a re-install or an install of IE and OE 5.5/6. Try that and get back.

Prav---That last post was a mistake.

I downloaded OE into my D drive and then copied it to OE in my C drive. That didn't help my problem. I will use OE in my D drive and then delete it from my C drive if I can transfer all info from C to D. Can I copy all folders from C into D?
Thanks

Burt, before you go any further, try to repair IE & Outlook - Start, settings, control panel, add/remove programs, select MS internet explorer and tools, click add/remove, select repair option.

Then do a virus scan with an up-to-date scanner (there's an on-line one here at Cyber Tech Help).

Thanks Surfy---I was told that IE can not be repaired and to run setup again. I had IE6setup running for 19 hours overnight and it only got to 5% download. The icon keeps running but the percentage stays on the 5%,
I tried to correct with the MSI recommendaion but I'm having trouble executing that.
What's next?

Thanks for your help

Burt:

If u aren't able to download IE6setup off the net, why don't u just run to a store and get some PC Mag? U'll definitely find IE6 on the CD that comes with it. Just scan the contents of the CD for IE6 before u buy the mag.
