For the last few months when I send embedded jpeg pictures to AOL members from my Outlook Express 6, they can not see most of the embedded pictures. Certain ones they can see, the smaller KB ones. I have checked my configurations they are all correct. Anyone know if there were restrictions put through AOL as to embedded pictures in their email? I have called my cable server and they seem to think AOL does have restrictions. I have NO problem with any other people from different servers. They all see the pictures.

Hi welcome to Cybertech.

It could be that you are sending the pictures as Jpeg and AOL is converting them to ART files. I just went through some major problems due to that.

Have one of the people that is on AOL to go to Keyword Preferences and go to the WWW section and set it to Never Compress Images. Then have them to open the Email with a Jpeg in it and see if they can view it....

It's possible to block attachments in email using the parental controls, not sure what the default is, but I suspect it's set to allow pictures.
