Outlook Express

I am getting error messages from OE. From

KERNEL32.DLL; and CSENG.dLL.
What does this mean.
Also I installed a new email program; indredimail.
Now I am having OE send messages on it's own; and it is pertaining to my scanner.
This is freaky.
Can anyone advise.
The Incredimail program is my default email.

Sorry Idarose, I've missed this one.

Welcome to Cybertechhelp.

I am a little confused to say the least so I'm going to need a little clarification from you on a few things...

1) Did the Outlook Express errors start before or after you installed incredimail?

2) What sort of messages is Outlook sending that tell you it is pertaining to your scanner?

3) What AntiVirus program are you using? Is it up-to-date?

4) When do the errors occur in Outlook Express - when you open the program, send mail, clos program,... ?

I found my problem. I did a virus scan and found the W32Magistrb virus.

Evidently it had attached itself to my scanner files. Direcional files on how to use the scanner. Then it emailed the message to a couple of people.

I did not have virus protection at that time.
Now I have downloaded Norton Antivirus.

So; things are ok now.
Thanks for your help.
