is there any good alternative to Gozilla for use with file downloads. The last time I used Gozilla it seemed to cause more problems than it was worth.
I want to download a couple of very large zip files but with the 2 hour forced disconnect with Unlimited Freeserve this is a problem and I think that Gozilla or something similar will enable me to do the download in stages.

Thanks for the info, I've had a quick look at your link.

It says it will retriev ads from time to time, do you know if it will work ok with Zone Alarm?

Chris,

I have used Download Accelerator Plus extensively with Zone Alarm and never had any problems.

It's a great piece of software http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/smile.gif

The ads are retrieved from my experience only when you are downloading something. Meaning that I've never had ZA pick up on DAP trying to phone home.

You can get rid of the ads by purchasing the software anyway.

I'd recommend it for sure.

I have only found that the program wants access when I first start it. I do not have it integrated with the browser and instead have it monitor the clipboard. I really like the built in search feature.

Thanks Guys for the updated info.

I have now downloaded the software and will probably give it a try shortly.

I also downloaded advanced internet tool before getting your replies, any experience with that piece of software or do you feel that DAP is the best?

Cheers

PS Mishy like the new board but I'm getting dizzy keeping up with your house moves!
