I actually have a piece of good technical information! We have had a problem for a long time with our 'puter freezing sometimes when scrolling in certain types of situations, sometimes in Outlook Express but also on certain sites that sometimes have "scroll boxes" on the right or left side of their page. I don't know if these are frames, or what........not smart on that stuff. At any rate, my husband downloaded the latest video driver for the video card we have and whaalaa, the problem seems to be fixed! Just thought I'd post it. Here's a link to more info - it says Windows 98 but we have 95; it still seemed to solve our problem. http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000160.htm

PS: Hope I put this in the right forum!

Hi Harrie....I had that same problem when I upgraded to win98. I had to go into properties and lower the setting on my graphics card until I could find an upgrade for the driver for it....now I can run it all the way with the new driver....

Ha, don't I wish, Mishy! Man, I think you should be paid. Feel the same way about another board's administrator/owner. But anyway, actually, it was my husband who fixed it, not me......I was the one whining about the problem all the time! But listen, is it frames that do that, or is that another matter altogether? I keep hearing people say "be careful with frames." Was just wondering. Actually sounds more like a browser issue.
