After M$ Internet Explorer, it says "Provided by: <A HREF="http://www.bettorsadvantage.com"." TARGET=_blank>www.bettorsadvantage.com".</A> Is this some M$ advertisment thing? I'm using IE5.5, but I don't remember seeing this before and some IE5.5s don't have that in their title bar. No easy way to get rid of it, very annoying. http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/frown.gif

Reg Hack Warning!!
You can change the text on the Title Bar from Microsoft Internet Explorer to a text of your choice:
Start the Registry Editor (regedit from the Run menu box)
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer \ Main
Select Edit from the menu
Select New > String Value
Call it Window Title
Now double-click this entry and insert your text
End Warning!!
Have fun!!

Meta,
It strikes me quite strange how this advert came up on your browser. The only thing I can come up with is that it must have installed itself from a download you might have done. Their so-called web integration is what you might be witnessing lol
Trams bang on with the suggestion - that will clear it for sure.
Those titles often come about when you install a copy of IE or Netscape off a PC World CD (But obviously the message would be PC World http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/biggrin.gif).
I can say unreservedly that this is not an M$ feature you've been blessed with http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

IE5 came with the computer (from the Windows 98SE CD), and I had it updated a few month ago to 5.5 (from WindowsUpdate). I haven't installed anything new since then, except for M$ drivers and such for my Intellimouse Optical (love the redglowy optical mouse). http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/smile.gif
I'm going to try the Registry editing method.

Ha, got rid of the st00pid title now. http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/smile.gif
Except that instead of going to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer \ Main
I went to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer \ Main
Sure enough, there was already a Window Title thing and it had the title text there. I just went in and deleted the junk ad. http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/smile.gif
Thanks for the help everyone!
