Have a lot of problems to go here, though I have no problems with other sites. Any clues?
Also the pages do not load completely sometimes, as eg. I'm posting this, nothing below the options table, have to start over new http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/frown.gif

Herb,

To be honest I have no idea why you're having problems as it is most likely a problem on your side of the pond.

The server has had no problems whatsoever for weeks now.

What browser, modem combo have you got ????

Herb,

Just as a sidenote the server this site is on is in Australia http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/smile.gif

Which will explain any slightly higher ping times as no doubt most of the sites you visit and indeed most of us visit are in the US http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I don't understand it either. I've external ISDN since years and my connections are normally around 8-10KB/sec, or I'm on a T1 company connection, where I know when our proxy just sucks every now and than. The browsers don't matter, I'd tried them all NS3,4 IE4,5 but usually I stick with NS3

The tracerouting tells me that the sticky server is on your side (your IP 210.10.167.93) as you can see from the list, the no responses take place in Australia. I get always a number of xxx.globix.net traces and than it dies off.
Also my dialup is setup perfect, no loss of packets at all untill timeout. The higher ping times are quite normal to me.

I'd tried also immediately the tracert, when it ran just fine but the result was similar.

At the moment I just think, if nobody else has this problems, I've some sh$t on my hands http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Hello Dere

I have noticed that I almost always time out when I run a tracert on this site. That said - I find that the page loads are at least as fast as any sites I visit from the U.S. or Canada. Go Figure!!

As said, I'm the one hitting the pets pile http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Since yesterday no problems anymore to load the site http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/smile.gif

Thinking about the traceroute problem, it looks to me as if globix.net might have some routing probs, to get into such circular jumps on one server.

If you've never taken ricinus-oil, you can't know http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
You ran as fast as you can, so the servers do http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I've about 11KB d/l from your site with ISDN against less than 1kB the last fortnight.
Very good http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/smile.gif
