Problems with animated objects in IE/Maxthon
I'm talking about stuff like emoticons (just like the ones used in these forums) - for some weird reason, they appear static, i.e. non-animated. I believe something may have happened after I installed MyIE2 (Maxthon), but I have no idea what. I remember that yesterday everything was fine. Today I installed Maxthon and now emoticons appear non-animated in both Maxthon and IE. A long time ago, I had this same problem with IE, however the reason then was the animation ad-blocking feature on ZoneAlarm. It has been disabled since, so now I'm out of ideas. Pls help!

in msie, go to tools, internet options, advanced, scroll down to multimedia and make sure play animation is selected.

I have same problem, but he's not waving. I made sure animation was on.

If that fix didn't work for you then check your Firewalls or Internet Security for animation options.
