Links in Netscape 4.76

Before upgrading to 4.76 (using 4.7.5), I was able to highlight an URL, copy then paste into email and have a ready made link. Now with 4.76 that capability is gone. Any suggestions as to what I may be missing here? Thanks!!

I just now went and installed 4.76 I too had 4.75.
I tried my copy and paste and it works fine, I would then think it might have been something with the install.
If it worked before there is no reason I see for it not to now.
Is it just happening here or all over
if all over maybe try to reinstall and see if that corrects it

Ironside: It's happening all over.....the copy, paste function works, but it won't turn it into an URL. I will reinstall later today and see if that helps. Thanks!!

After you paste the url and the curser is blinking at the end of the url, try to hit the space bar, this will sometimes turn the url into a clickable link.

Hi tramtwo...tried that and no luck. However, I sent myself what appeared to be just text, when I had in fact copied/pasted an URL, and it arrived as a link!! Go figure! Thanks anyway!! <IMG SRC="http://www.geocities.com/audoneca2000/smilies/wavey.gif" border=0>
