Hi
I originally used Internet Explorer 5, but because of all the pop ups, I changed to MSN Explorer, and deleted Internet Explorer from the computer (sort of) by making a file in Notepad, and typing in a pile of stuff I found on a help website, a bit like this one, and it worked.
I wanted to download the first episode of "Lost" from this site: http://www.btefnet.com/index.php?show=63
But, when I clicked on the link to download the episode, I got this:
"C:\Documents and Settings\crooks\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\UXTEJM1O\lost.101.hdtv-lol.proper.[bT][1].torrent."
The specified path does not exist.
Check the path, and then try again.
Any idea how I fix this? I tried deleting IE off the computer again, as apparently it is still on here somewhere, as the error mentioned it, but when I go to Control Pannel, then Add/Remove Programs, IE isn't on it. I then thought I'd download IE 6, and use it to download the episode, but when I download and install it, and restart, it isn't on the computer.
Anyone know what I could do? Is there anyway I can make it so the file is downloaded using MSN Explorer?
As you can probably tell, I'm not very good with all the technical things, so try and dumb any help you have for me down a bit. I'd really appreciate any help from anyone.
